KINECT!!! WAYYYY more fun! It gets your WHOLE body and you don't have to hold a controller. LOVE it! We have both, and can honestly say that we haven't played the wii in probably 3 months, but play the kinect at least once a week. LOVE KINECT!!
I'll admit, at first I was concerned because of some of the reviews sayng that when there were 2 players it was hard to pick up each player, but we haven't had any problems with that.0 -
I have both and I like the Kinect better since you don't have to hold anything. We just got it recently so we've only played The Biggest Loser on it so far. The menus are kind of hard to navigate around in, but the workouts definitely work you out better than the wii fit.0

I personally love the Kinect, just got one for my wife for Valentines Day, and we love it. I have played the Wii, and really didnt feel like I was getting any benifit from it. With the Kinect, your body is the controller and it is awesome. It comes with an adventure game that is really neat, just rented a fighting game, Uncaged fighters, that is a full body workout, I am still sore from the last two days of playing, 45 min each day. So for my money I would go with the Kinect.0

i have a wii, but i think the kinect would be better.0

We haven't tried the Kinect.... I can see where not holding a remote would be handy.
We have been using Wii Active since the beginning of the year.... it will definitely put you thru your paces.
We also have Wii Fit Plus... it's fun, but not nearly as demanding. The Yoga is good, though.
Lost 20 lbs. so far using Wii Active, eating right (thanks to MFP) and brisk walking as often as I can.
Hope this helps... Good Luck !!0 -
I have both and I prefer the xbox0

My son has both and loves the Kinect.0 -
I would have to go with the Kinect. We got ours for Christmas and there isn't a day that goes by that someone doesn't play it. My boys are 7 and 4 and they can both easily navigate the menus and play all the games. It is a total body workout and I love not having to mess with controllers, too. Hope you and your family enjoy whatever you get!!!0

Kinect all the way. Better graphics and who wants to carry a controller around. Hands free with Kinect. I use it a LOT!0

I have a Wii and a Kinect and I have to say, Kinect is waaay better. Hands free allows your to move without having your wrist "pointed at the television" and the games are alot more exciting. Lots of dancing and sports that get you moving. My husband, kids and I love it! I am actually looking into getting the new Biggest Loser game for it later on this month! Looks like a lot of fun!
I am a huge Mario fan, have been since the orignal came out, so as far as getting my mario fix, I keep my Wii hooked up on a spare TV lol0 -
PS3 MOVE!!! And - if you get a backwards compatible PS3, then your kids can keep all their old games!0

my little sister has a wii with a few dance games, but i go to my brother's and play the kinect with my nephew. the kinect uses your body for the controller, where the wii you have to hold the controller and if you do the moves, it only picks up on your hand movements. the kinect tells you if youre doing it ALL wrong lol.0

XBOX KINECT is awsome - especially since you don't need to worry about a controller - more range of motion fun!0

I vote for KINECT... I have the "Your Fitness Evolved" game for it. It's a good workout. Trying to get used to the menu options. I'm getting the Biggest Loser one next. Anyone using that now? How do you like it?0

I have played both, but really love Kinect. The games we have are quite a bit of fun (Adventures, Sports, Dance Central, Your Shape), and we get a bit of a workout playing the games. Kinect was part of the reason I got my butt of the couch and started exercising more.0
