I'm looking for some good belly exercises! I do a lot of crunches and planks... but can anyone give me some really awesome ab exercises?? I would love to get my belly more toned as I'm losing weight! Thanks for the input :happy:

It is tempting to only work the abs, but it is important you work your entire body, mostly your core. I would suggest purchasing the book The Abs Diet for Women by David Zinczenko. It has done wonders for me, and is partly responsible for my last 5 pounds lost.

decline crunch (with/without weights)
weighted crunch (no weights? use a book/canned food/something with weight)
long arm weighted crunch

flutter kick
OBLIQUES
oblique v-up
saxon side bend
speed rotation

two handed wood chop
medicine ball torso rotation
TRANSVERSE ABDOMINIS
bridge (like the yoga move plank, but on your forearms instead of on your hands)
side bridge (side plank on forearm)
two point bridge/plank
negative crunch
swiss ball bridge/plank
swiss ball pull ins
barbell/dumbell rollout
LOWER BACK
back extension
twisting back extension
swiss ball superman
swimmers backstroke
