HELP-Krispy Kreme temptation!

I'm sitting at school and a boy just gave me a Krispy Kreme donut for his birthday.

It's sitting on my desk staring at me and I know its going to start talking to me soon.

Tell me to leave it for my daughter.

She will be done in less than an hour...

    This is what I used to tell myself when I worked in a K-1 building...the kid probably got some sort of snot or other germs on it. Just toss it when no one's looking!

    Don't even wait for your daughter. Put it in the trash. An hour is a long freaking time to stare at a Krispy Kreme Donut. Give her something healthier instead that you can share after school perhaps? Apples/Celery and PB?! LOL BE STRONG Throw it!

    This may sound weird but when I am tempted like that, I chew gum and put whatever temptation it is right up to my nose and take deep wiffs of it. I learned this when I was cooking Thanksgiving dinner...the longer I smell something while chewing gum, the less hungrier I become. I don't know if it is my mind being tricked that I am eating it or what. But by the time I finished cooking dinner, I wasn't even hungry enough to eat a small plate of food.:happy:

    I'm German and was raised by parents who lived thru the depression. Can't do it.

    Look up the calories/fat and think about how long it would take on the treadmill to erase it. That's how I survived Valentine's Day as a teacher.

    Bah, wish I read all of this 5 minutes ago when I was tempted by an ice cream sandwich. The ice cream sandwich won. :( At least it was a skinny cow one.
