Ok, I know Im late. I just saw what Zumba is and "I like it alot" <dumb and dumber voice> I have some salsa experience, but I have gained so much weight I definately can not dance the way I used to. Doesn't mean I can't again...So with that said, are there any favs for Zumba videos or youtube instructors to follow??? I have to find more ways to get moving and to involve my little ones. YAY MOMMYS!!

I heart ZUMBA!!!!!0

:flowerforyou: I know I probably should get a Zumba dvd myself and start working out to that.... I love Salsa Dancing!0

I hear Wii Zumba is fun but I don't have it. I go to classes that have a "club" atmosphere and love it!0

You should try Jazzercise. It incorporates dance for aerobic as well as strength training. I lost 9 inches off my waist and 30 pounds when I first started it.0

I have Zumba for the Kinect/xbox and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it !! It definitely gets me moving and sweating!!0

Its great fun. I go on Mondays.0

I don't have any experience with Zumba videos exactly because I go to a local studio for my zumba classes but I just had to say that it's AMAZING! I usually do it twice a week, for an hour each time. One Saturday i wore my friend's calorie counting watch and it showed that I burned 1000 calories! And it is hard work but its SO much fun. i so look forward to classes. I can't say enough good things about it. It's what motivated me to whip my butt into shape.0

I just got it for Kinect as well, and it is fun! I have only just started it but it does work me out pretty hard. I sweat and constantly move! Have friends coming over this weekend to try it out also!0 -
I Zumba! I dont care for the videos that much, but I LOVE the classes that I take 2x a week (tonight actually). If you go to zumba.com you can search for a class near you. Usually the first class is free.0

Funny, I have the DVD's from Zumba.com...and I hate it...talk about freakin' boring...and the people on there drive me bonkers...go to a class if you can, but I do NOT recommend doing it at home by yourself...0

I'm looking into starting Zumba myself. The cheapest classes in my area don't start for a month but I'm curious.... If you're not coordinated how much do you struggle in a class? Am I going to look like a fool?!0
-
Oh lord I am so uncoordinated. But I go through the moves and just have a blast. And honestly nobody is looking at me anyway. You will have a blast. My class has all ages and sizes. You will be fine!0

I have this one
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zumba-Fitness-Exercise-toning-sticks/dp/B002HZ4XMC/ref=pd_cp_sg_2
and this one

both are pretty decent.
It is more fun going to a class than doing it at home but these are still a good workout and fun.0 -
I have the Dvd's and they are okay...I mean they will do. I would much rather go to the class. I also have Dance Central for the Kinect and I love it!!!0

I have dance central too, and I love it...that's my "warm up/cardio" every night...doesn't feel like working out. I also like Your Shape for kinect, the cardio boxing is fun.0 -
