So, I tried searching to see if there was already a topic like this but I either didn't search good enough, or there wasn't one... so I'm starting it :)

I think it's always neat to see what other people have in their fridge (maybe I'm just weird?). Why don't you join me and go take a picture of what you have in your fridge right now. Or if you don't want do do that maybe tell us a list? :)

Here is mine:

I love hearing what other people have in their refrigerators too!

I don't have much in mine: 2 strawberry chobani yogurts. a big tub of fage 0% yogurt. leftover white chicken chili. portabella mushrooms. lettuce and spinach. almond butter. eggs. carrots and zucchini. and some other condiments. in the freezer I have: kashi waffles. flat-out bread. corn tortillas. almonds. chia and flax seeds. sunflower seeds. sandwich thins. and double fiber English muffins.

In my freezer I have my flour (to give a longer shelf life), a bunch of different types of fish, chicken breast, some veggies, fruit, bread and some Girl Scout cookies my boyfriend put in there.

Do you find that the almond butter gets too hard when you put it in the fridge?

well the almond butter jar says to refrigerate after opening so it doesn't go rancid, and I was hesitant that it would be like a brick. but it's still easy to get out and I have realized that I actually like it cold :p

Haha, not weird at all! I love when magazines do that with celebrities! It's hard to take a picture of my "corner" of the fridge since I have roommates. I usually don't have very much food on hand and mostly meal plan and grocery shop on a week-to-week basis. Right now though I have:

Gallon of 1% milk, low sodium Original V8, 2 cartons of eggs, butter, salsa, Smucker's Black Raspberry Jam, German mustard, worchestershire sauce, Butterball Turkey Sausage links, Claussen dill pickles, and Borden American cheese singles.

It's the end of the week, so not much happening in there. =P

that manilla envelope is full with grape & fig cuttings a friend sent

that "melt" stuff in the back is some sort of product a supervisor of mine sent me to do a review on, but it freaked me out too much to eat it after all because when it showed up it was completely melted and then the company was like "it >>should<< be okay" and i'm sure it is, and they were just covering their *kitten*, but i'm a little weirded out by most commercially prepared things anyway. so now i have like a dozen of these "butter" tubs taking up the back of my fridge.

left crisper = apples in "storage"
right crisper = kale, carrots, cabbage and probably some old celeraic, but i didn't dig too deeply...

we don't keep meat in the house, so in the meat drawer are the cheeses.

the dreaded condiment door which is in desperate need of a clearing out - i don't even remember when i bought that buttermilk.
peach, plum & cherry pits "overwintering" in the butter bin.

we make almost everything from scratch, so that's why there's a lot of writing on strange containers. haha.

haha! great idea!! I would take a pic but mine is run down at the moment as i'm off on holiday tomorrow night.

Will take a pic when I do a shop when I'm back.

But usually its full of veg in the salad drawers - brocolli, carrots, tomatoes, spinach, squash, peppers, onions........

then I usually have some kind of cooked chicken for emergencies. Bertolli spread. Dairylea cheese triangles. Cheese. Yogurts. Milk. Wine and beer! (for guests!!!

Oh! And A raw meat/chicken/fish for that nights dinner

I keep apples at room temperature. Hate them cold

Funny how we are all different

Kayemme - Thanks for posting pics! :) You have a lot of condiments. I've had to weed ours out.

we have a lot of friends that can goods and give gifts of canned deliciousness... mostly in the area of local fruit jams and hot sauces which don't ever seem to expire.

    we are a blessed folk.
