"Can I use bodyweight training to lose weight?"
That's the question that we receive all the time...
The answer is yes... with a few "buts".
... but only if you adequately control your food intake
at the same time (no amount of training can make up
for shoveling junk food down your gullet on a regular
basis)
... but only if you perform the exercises in an intense
enough manner to elicit a physiological change
(yes, there will be effort involved, you will
sweat, your heart rate will increase but it will
work... )
... but only if said training is performed consistently
(thats right, you have to "do it" rather than
just thinking of doing it)
Try this -- set your watch for 20 minutes and get
moving every day -- perform any bodyweight movements
you wish, I recommend pushups, situps, squats, muscle
control, stretching and breathing exercises.
Remember: every day.
After 3 months, increase to 30 minutes per day.
Remember: every day.
After 6 months, increase to 40 minutes per day.
Remember: every day.
If you have truly done everything listed here,
your body and overall health will have significantly
changed for the better.
The key to making this "work" though is to
a) keep it fresh so you do not get bored
b) get results
-- no one ever quit when their training was working
c. do it every day
Fortunately, making all of these happen is fairly
simple. Because the goal here is "action" you don't
have to worry about sets and reps etc, just stay
moving. And because it's bodyweight training, there
is an unending number of exercise variations.

SO TRUE, YOU WILL SEE RESULTS WHEN YOU START EATING TO LIVE, NOT EAT TO LIVE IS A NO, NO! DON'T EAT JUNK FOOD AND HIGH SUGAR FOODS EXPECT TO LOSE WHILE STILL EXERCISING. I EXERCISE EVERYDAY – CARDIO 4 TIMES AND WEIGHT LIFTING TWICE A WEEK. EXERCISE IS A GIFT!! KEEP MOVING . . .0
