I AM losing 125 lbs. before my 30th High School Reunion in June 2012. I started my journey on 1-11-11 and already lost 17 lbs. I am doing this for more than just looking better, but feeling better and living healthier. I have health issues with asthma and high blood pressure. I started my life style change with the idea of my 13 year old son seeing his mom becoming a healthier person, and my husband seeing the wife he married 18 years ago. I AM READY AND ON MY WAY TO A HEALTHIER ME!

Welcome and goodl luck.
If I can give any advice it would be to lose weight *slowly*. One of the key markers of people who lose weight **and keep it off** is to lose it gradually. 2 pounds per week is the absolute max you should strive for. 1 pound is my goal, anything above is a bonus for me but no more than 2 pounds per week.0
