30 seconds to Mars (Closer to the Edge & The Kill)

They get me going! Also Linkin Park (Bleed it Out) pumps me up!

That Nickelback song is good! Good choice!

I am the same way...music really influences my level of workout. Missy E, Korn, Greenday, and Madonna are always on my excercise playlist. I am kind of all over the place with my musical tastes.

My background is in dance, and I think that's why I like a pretty dance/pop heavy
FLORENCE+THE MACHINE "Kiss with a fist" (for mid-workout intensity boost)
The Ting Tings "Great DJ" (for warm up)
Britney Spears "Stronger" (for cheesy inspiration :))

    and then a lot of:
Little Boots, Lady Gaga, Make the Girl Dance, The Sounds, Justice
  • Do you work out w/your iPhone? I've been in love w/the Pandora app. The "Workout Plan Radio" station I've been listening to even when NOT at the gym is soooo gooood!!! I've found that just by listening to this station while at home (folding laundry, emptying the dishwasher) makes my body move so much more... while making household chores FUN!!!

Just in the last two days, I've bookmarked these booty shaking songs:

    T.I. - Live your life
    Sean Paul - Tempature
BEP - Boom Boom Pow, Imma Be, I've got a feeling
Flo Rida - Club can't handle me, Low, Right Round
    Baby Bash - Cyclone
    Kanye West - Stronger
Usher - DJ got us falling in love, OMG
    Lady Gaga - Just Dance
Pitbull - I Know you want me (Calle Ocho)
    Ke$ha - Tik Tok
    Shakira - Waka Waka
    Sean Kingston - Fire Burning
    Nelly Furtado - Promiscuous
    Kardinal Offishall - Dangerous
    Far East Movement - Like a G6
    Rihanna - Pon De Replay
  • K A S A B I A N
  • TOOL, Filter, The Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Audioslave (Show Me How To Live), Pantera, Rob Zombie, Ramstein, Mudvayne, 5 FInger Death Punch...That ought to get ya started! ;)

5 Finger Death Punch - seen them in concert! Awesome! Sorry seen it and it caught my eye ;)

    So a few more:
Drowning Pool - Bodies is another good one for the playlist.
Godsmack - The Oracle - all great
Pink Floyd - Use them for cool down
  • Sia's recent release is full of upbeat, motivating songs.

Limp Bizkit is always good for a little blood pumping.

Foster the People's EP... it's short, but really fun.

A Silent Film's You Will Leave a Mark is epic... the sort of song that makes me want to move my legs faster.

    METRIC!

Kanye - Power & Stronger are my favorites

    Phoenix

Dyme Def - Let it Be

    Miike Snow

    The Sounds

    ** I could go on forever. :-)
