Mine is so boring, but I use the couch to 5k podcasts and run in place with my HRM. I make sure to keep it in the zone. I had to start when my treadmill died on me. http://runningintoshape.com/5k-training-downloads/week-1-c25k/

Whats cold? It's snowing here in Michigan! But I did run outside 2 weeks ago when it was 40 deg. Bundle up with moisture wicking clothing. Warm up inside and strech and head out doors!!!

on man its been 0 degrees out. and the sidewalks are dangerous... running in winter boots ... not sure if its worth the risk of injury. :-) 40 degrees sounds wonderful!

okay, yes I agree I wouldnt be running outside either!! I don't run outside unless it is 30 (wich is not very often here) The sidewalk still had a big of snow on them when I went out so my feet got wet and I had to watch my step, but it felt so great to get out there. So as soon as the weather breaks go for it!! =) Until then I suggest working on your cardio to build up endurance. Running will do something completelly different to you (it does me anyways!), but at least you won't be completely winded.

I love going outside. Bad weather doesn't bother me. When its really cold I bundle up. I also use these for snowy/icy conditions: http://www.yaktrax.com/

ugh how you format links again? lol it's not working )=

I feel ya hun, I have been eager to go running outside and don't have access to a gym either. I have been doing hardcore cardio workouts to build my stamina. I tried running the other day when it was above freezing, problem was that it had created a layer of ice covered in water. I ended up doing the splits! Thankfully I did not hurt myself! I'd keep indoors until the weather breaks.

I would agree just to build up your cardio, do some at home DVDs or something so that when the weather is bearable, you will be more cardio-prepared to run outside. (Unless you had enough money and space to buy a treadmill of course...)
