New to MFP

Well, my bestfriend pointed out this site to me and so far I love it. I was already on a diet so this is a great way for me to keep track of everything! I started my diet 2 weeks ago and have lost almost 8 pounds. I am super excited to be losing weight to help myself feel better about my image!

    if you just "diet" you may lose the weight but when you stop you will gain it back and usually more. but if you change your "lifestyle" is will stick with you the rest of your life. read all of the labels on the foods that you purchase and try to make healthier chooses in what you buy and the portions that you consume. It will be a little difficult at first until you learn what and what not to buy but it is well worth it. everyone in my house eats what I eat and love it. i am leading by example. good luck on your journey and welcome to the family.
