Hi,
I was diagnosed with a weak lower half heart and need to drop about 70 pounds.
Can anyone suggest exercise techniques or certain exercising that may be safe for me to do?

I would first of all ask you cardiologist, but I would suggest to start, the fairly safe approach of walking. Seek to walk at as brisk a pace as you can, but when you start don't overdo it. Walking is where I started right after my stroke, more came later when my strength built up a bit, and I found walking at a brisk pace was just not enough.0

Thanks for that advice i'll start out slow0 -
I was going to suggest walking as well.
I'd also suggest getting a heart rate monitor so you can keep an eye on your heart rate while working out. That way you know if you are over doing it or not.0 -
You cant go wrong with walking, it doesn't have to be fast or a marathon. Just keep moving, take stairs instead of elevator, park ur car far from the mall when you shop, just keep moving but dont 4get to change ur diet also. good luck & dont give up.0
