I started MFP in October and between then and Xmas I lost a whole 5lbs while my boyfriend lost 20+ without changing ANYTHING he ate and only working out for an hour a week! So, I lost all my motivation...I didn't go to the gym for 2 months and stopped caring about what I ate. Now I've gained 3-4lbs back and I feel disgusting :(

I need some motivation because my own is seriously lacking.

    Good luck on getting motivated and acheiving your goals........oh and OUCH that he lost that much weight without doing much different!!!!! ;lolx

    Just remember that men and women are different, and use his weight loss as motivation. :smile: You will get there.

    I think most of us have been there where their partner loses weight effortlessly while the other person is working like heck to drop that first five pounds. Pls don't get discouraged as you are not alone. We are all in this together and have the same goal in mind which is to lose weight. Keep in mind every little moderation will count towards your overall weightlost goal. Take it one day at a time and you will get there. Just remember, we did not gain this weight overnight therefore we can't expect to lose it overnight. Your Fitnesspals are here for you.... You can do it ( remember you are not alone).
