Hey so I'm thinking of getting a Polar FT7 HRM, but Best Buy only has the men's available right now. do you think it would be okay if I got the mens kind, and not the womans? Or is there another HRM that would be recommended?

I think the only difference is color and maybe size.
Most allow you to put your gender in when you set it up.
    I love my FT4 :)
Just Google Polar FT7 and under images there is one that shows a female and male next to each other, mens is bigger and a different color.

you'll probably get a better price on ebay. also ****'s sporting goods has them. I know that will get stared out, but hopefully you know what it says :)

I'd go with the lady's version personally - the watch is a lot less bulky.

Color and size will be the biggest difference.

I got the mens for the Polar FT4 and it fits me well! I have big wrists and women sizes may have been to small.

I got the female version of Polar FT7 from Amazon (I liked the male version's color better, but it would be huge on my wrist), and I love it! :)
