Hi all

So I'm kind of discouraged right now, more than I've been in a while because I feel like I might not be losing weight as quickly. I figure it might be one of the three problems:

1. I not logging things right (but I'm trying so hard to!)
2. I am pushing myself too hard and my body is fighting back.
3. Is there such a thing as your body just simply refusing to change!?

My dad says that your body will find its happy weight and I won't be able to go farther, is that true? Cause I feel like I could still benefit from losing about 10 more punds. If anyone could give me some advice that would be great! Thanks everyone in advance!

Your cals are probably too low. Change your goals to 1lb, but I'd even recommend 1/2lb per week or maintenence, and concentrate on toning.

Recalculate your BMR/RMR and stay 15-20% below that in calories. When you lose weight and become more active, you BMR/RMR will adjust or adapt to the weight and workload so you need to tweak it a little.

the last 10 pounds is really the hardest, the key is to being consistent and patient becuase the calorie-deficits take longer to add up to a pound of fat and in some cases your body tries extra hard to hold onto it's padding since it cares more about surviving than being thin:tongue:
    check out this article:

on another thread others have suggessted some tricks for losing the last 10 pounds and that includes High-intensity interval training, carb-cycling, intermittent fasting (eating only in 8 hour windows daily) and getting strict with diet-140 grams of protein, 100 grams of carbs, 30 grams of fat (daily).
If you have already lost 16 pounds you are doing something right, it just takes longer with more consistency when you get close to goal, read this thread too:
