This good deed is going to my hips!

I need a chaperone. There are two boxes of Girl Scout Cookies in my cupboard. Buying them was suppposed to be a good deed. Was. Now they're here. And I have the shakes. I can't waste so throwing them/giving them away is probably an unlikely solution. I would like to open the box and have two. And then put them back until next week or so. Can I manage that? Why can't the Girl Scouts sell anything else!?

Oh, I am there, too. My coworker just sent the email that the cookies are in and I don't think I can go get them without eating both boxes. I'm just not going to pick them up and see if they magically disappear. I do great as long as there isn't temptation right in front of me.0

QUICK! THROW 'EM IN THE FREEZER-- RIGHT NOW!!!!!
Now, step away from the freezer.
That's it. Further. Further. Further. Felling better? Of course you are.
Now . . . .
Decide who you're going to give them to-- the office? The next board meeting? The next soccer practice?
No reason to go near the freezer until then (send a spouse or small child if you are in need of frozen spinach or an ice cube.
As the District Cookie Sales Champion three years in a row back in my day (and that's when we went door to door and giving your mommy a form to hit up her co-workers was considered cheating), I always feel obligated to buy from everybody I know with a kid of that age. But once I discovered several years ago that you can just hand over the cash and write "donation only" on the order form, I saved myself from thousands of calories and still get to pass on good cookie karma to the next generation!
Works for Boy Scout popcorn, too!0 -

LOL I'll remember that. Problem is, I want to eat them and I can afford them occasionally (we should treat ourselves I think) I just need help when it comes to moderation. BTW I think we need to be friends silly0 -
Dude, Thin Mints are way better frozen. Haha but yeah, go for moderation. Maybe have an apple first.0

Don't feel two bad about eating them. As long as you don't go overboard a little snack now and then won't hurt. If it makes you feel better I have about 20 cases sitting in my room cuz my daughter sells them, and believe me they are tempting!!0
