I'm from Pennsylvania dutch country originally and tomorrow I'm going home for a whoopie pie festival. (its like two cake cookies held together by icing in the middle)
Is it sad that this has been the thing that has motivated me to get through my crappy week?
I am going to try to be good. First thing when I wake up, I'm going to the gym for about an hour hopefully burning 700-800 calories. Letting me have 2 guilt free whoopie pies.
There is supposedly over 100 different flavors there. How can a hometown girl resist?

I LOVE it... go for it, and be guilt free after your exercise!!!!
I am seriously thinking about a delicious homemade tiramisu... I'm trying to resist, but I might have to break down one of these days!

Tami!! I knew that was your nickname, but is it really your fav? Let's talk girl...
How do you make yours? I do mascarpone and whipping cream (no eggs) but the Food Network Chef Ricardo make a light one the other day, and it looked decent (fat free cream cheese, low fat ricotta, and stiffened egg whites).
Oh man, I dream about the stuff - but when I make some for a dinner party, I always end up eating it for brekky the next day - it is trouble!

Yeah, Joanna (Healthier_Me), started calling me Tiramisu because my old name on here Tamim1974 reminded her of it!  But it turns out it IS my favorite dessert too!0 -

When we go to a nice restaurant, I always try the tiramisu! Do you and your hubby go into NYC for dinner often? Oh, that would be trouble...
