How many do you use (calories)

I know we use them all, but how close are you, or are you always exact?
I have been going almost exact (as much as possible), yesterday I was under by 20. I figure give or take a little is cool, since my activity calories could be slightly off

I try to use them all but some days I have a 100 or more calories left over.0

I am usually under, sometimes by up to 200 +/-, and I try to use them up, but because I don't know if I'm spot on, or over in my exercise, I could be in starvation mode which would explain my plateau.
I'm going to start going over my calories by at least 50 +/-, to see if I can break it.:grumble:0 -
On days I do not exercise I eat minimum 1220 of my 1280 cals allowed but never go over. On days I do exercise (Most days) I eat within 100 of my goal, but never go over. I think it over estimates slightly on my exercise cals so I usually leave about 50 cals as a cushion space.0

I don't sweat it if I'm within 100 one way or the other. My goal is 2 pounds per week, so that's a 1000 deficit. So one day it may be 1100 and the next it could be 900. I don't think it's a big deal. Even if it was 1100 every day, I'd just loose 1 less pound that month, but I'd still be going down.0

r u using the recommended calories? I was, and my boot camp instructer told me i was not loosing weight b/c i was not eating enough, I bought the Jillian Micheals book and it said I should be at 1900 calories a day, and my instructor agreed, however I have put on weight since I have been eating that much. I do bootcamp 3 days per week, walk daily and do water aerobics 2 x per week,

Calories can be tricky. I was eating 1800 a day and gaining and was working out hard eating a good clean diet. I took it down to 1700 for 2 weeks and I stayed steady now I try to stay between 1600- 1660. I found that it's a good number for me. Everyones body is different. It depends on height weight and the way your body burns calories. Play with it a little. If your doing a hard work out 3 days a week eat more on those days and a Little not a lot less on the days your not working out.0
