Posting a picture on your fridge

What do you personally prefer, to keep you from grabbing food during those binge moods... a skinny person or a fat person?
I have heard both from others. I personally use a picture of myself when I was skinny, and then one next to it at my biggest, its a HUGE help

I think it depends on a person's mindset.
If posting a pic of a overweight person will steer someone away from the fridge then that's fine. If posting a picture of a athlete on a fridge is motivating then that's fine too.
Big help, huh? :laugh:0 -
lol yep! I was just curious

I like both -- me now to remind me how I got that way and eith er a supermodel or my bikini pic from along time ago to remind me it is possible,0

Guess I'm just a nut case all around... I don't ever feel like eating so I put a pic of me and my love on the fridge next to the card from him that says Believe in yourself because I believe in you...
Doesn't help me eat but it does make me go into the kitchen to look at it.......
I miss him :sad:0 -
I have an xray of two people, side by side, and it shows where the muscle and the fat is, as well as the skeletal structure and organs. Its funny, because the fat one has less lean muscle mass than the skinnier one, but twice as much fat. Kinda scary, but effective.
I don't leave it there so much to inspire me, but as a reminder of where I am in life right now.0 -
i have a pic of my former fat self on the fridge right now!0

I don't do either. if I feel the need to cheat, which is rare, I find something else to do instead, to take my mind off it. If I'm on my way to the kitchen for ice cream a photo, fat or skinny, is certainly not going to stop me! lol0

It is really hard to cheat in the household. I buy all the food, and in the past 4 monthsI have deleted all the bad stuff. LOL
So If I want to binge, go right ahead young lady, have all the carrots, broccoli, peaches and hummus you want bwahahahaha:devil:
My problem is restaraunts. I look over the menu 3 x. The first time I read everything, the 2nd I choose the food I would have eaten before losing almost 20 pounds, the 3rd time I decide if it is worth it, or is there another item which is just as yummy but wont fill out my jeans and clog up my arteries.
Visualizing the Me I Will Be helps a lot!

I agree a "warning" with a fat me pic or a thin and healthy not really supermodel tho(no offence) pic to inspire me to eat healthier.I like both -- me now to remind me how I got that way and eith er a supermodel or my bikini pic from along time ago to remind me it is possible,0 -
I've read that whatever you focus your thoughts or energy on is what you're going to get. So if you're looking at a fat picture you're more likely to get fat. If you're looking at a healthier version of yourself you're more likely to get healthy. Same with losing weight. If you try to lose weight you will only result in more weight. If you try to get healthy and thin then that is what you'll acheive. I try to be very careful about how I word things in my head. Always trying to tell myself what I want instead of what I don't want. Just my 2 cents.0
