Not my success.

This isn't my success story, it is my wife, Lisa's. We started WW back last summer together and stopped after 2 or 3 months. We both lost weight but after stopping WW , going on vacation and quitting tobacco, I gained back all I'd lost but Lisa maintained for a bit and then in early winter she started attacking her fat like a momma lion chasing a gizelle. Up to now since last summer she's lost around 40 pounds and dropped at least 4 pant sizes. She is 15 pounds from her goal weight and I'm confident she will make it. She isn't a tracking / logging kind of person so she doesn't do MFP so I thought I'd share for her. I'm very proud of what she has accomplished for herself. She still eats what she wants just not as much of it and exercises on the elliptical or Zumba for at least an hour nearly every day. She's accomplished this while holding down a full time job, also selling Avon, and raising our 3yr old son and 15 & 16yr old daughters. Her success has inspired me to get my act together and try to keep up with her. I joined MFP on Feb 8th and so far so good.

That's awesome & such an inspiration! It definitely seems hard to find time to work out after a long tiring day. Congrats on your success so far and good luck on your journey!0

What a success story. She is such an inspiration to me and I'm sure she is to you as well. Good luck. You can do this because you have your partner by your side to encourage you. I'm sure it will be fun to work out together too. A win/win situation.0

Congratulations to Lisa and her success - it is great that you are both there for each other - that is a huge help in itself - you have done it before and will do it again - Good luck!0

Great story! Thank you for sharing. My husband is the same, but opposite. He is seeing me tracking and working out and has gotten motivated to cut the portion size and eat what I cook for him. Working well so far, he is down about 10 lbs since I started back over a week ago.0

Wow, kudos to your wife. It really goes to show the whole "I don't have time" thing is just another excuse. She wanted it and she got it! Proud of her and her efforts0

Fantastic story! Thank you for letting her know how proud you are of her. Too many people have spouses who don't support their loss. Congrats to her!0
