it's not the night time it's the mid day that is the main problem at night i eat my meal and sometimes i go back for a snack but not often but during the day my mom and i have breakfast around 8-9 then i start my schoolwork or we run errands
when we get back or i finish
12-4 i'm hungry and will snack on anything
i'm trying to chew food between that time but it doesn't always help got an ideas?

I find that I snack more when I don't drink enough water, so I leave a pitcher of it on the kitchen counter to remind myself to keep drinking.0

So... EAT something if you are hungry. If you are physiologically hungry (pains, growling, weakness) EAT! You dont have to eat bad for you food. Eat something good for you. A handful of nuts. A piece of fruit. Veggies.... i eat right up until I go to bed. If I dont, I wouldnt get even half of my required calories. And if I burn off some doing exercise... Forget about it. And I can tell you I am shrinking like crazy.0

Like PNCTink said, yes--chug some h2o! Also, snacks are actually good if you plan them into your day--try having smaller portions at your meals, and then plan-in some snacks  I'm no expert, but often/smaller meals are supposed to boost your metabolism, too--BONUS!!!0

build in a snack for every afternoon! Your body is trying to tell you something! I always make sure to plan my days like this: breakfast-snack-lunch-snack-dinner. sometimes if i have extra calories (from working out or something) I will have a snack after dinner. Then you never have the big dips and super hungry periods.0

When you're craving something tasty, but your not hungry, drink some flavored tea (be careful with adding sugar, though). If you want to actually chew some food, try celery (it's great when it comes to nutrition), cucumber, cabbage and lettuce- they have almost no calories.0
