Hey everybody! My name is Lori and I'm new to MyFitnessPal...thanks to Sheri for introducing it to me I think this program rocks and is a super tool to help aid in our fitness goals...
I have been overweight most of my life (since Gr 6 and I'm now 40) and just recently decided that enough was enough - I've always been on the lookout for the "quick fix" and have tried many, many "diet programs, supplements, etc" and to no avail. I joined bootcamp 2 years ago and then hired that instructor as my trainer (love ya, Brett!) and I've been on quite the journey!
I don't know what I would do without Brett - she's brought me so far in these past 2 years and I also know that I probably wouldn't do it and keep myself accountable without my workout partner, Melissa!
When I first joined bootcamp, I weighed 235 lbs. and lost close to 50 lbs...then I went on a holiday last January with my DH to Florida/Mexico and when I came back, I sort of "gave up on myself" and let myself creep back up slowly to 210 lbs. again. So, now I'm starting a clean slate - I've lost 10 lbs..I'm nearing "Onderland" and am very excited about it!
Thanks for listening! And I can't wait to meet some of you and support you on your fitness journey's also!

thanks ladies!! We can do this! Now that I've convinced myself that there is no "quick fix" and it's gonna take some time to do it properly, I'm good to go!
Thanks Angela, I will add you!!0
