Ok so i have my daily calorie allowance and obviously that increases when I exercise.....

Should I still stick to my original calorie limit or should I make sure I eat extra if I've burnt a lot?
Obviously weight loss happens when you use up more calories than you take in but I don't want my metabolism to be affected too much either way. I don't know if I'm eating too much or too little and body going into starvation mode on the days when i exercise more.
Also if I don't exercise some days is it dangerous to eat less than the normal allowance on a regular basis?

Some other diet plans have the same daily allowance regardless of how much or little you exercise so I'm confused.

Any help/ comments gratefully received, thank you!

You should eat them, or at least most of them MFP is set up the way it is for a reason.

I just asked a personal trainer friend...she said you have to replace the calories burned. I you don't like the idea of it, replace with good things like recovery protein shakes, fruits, veggies, or my favorite...complex carbs...Your body needs to rebuild. I needs energy (good energy) to do that.

Thank you all, I wasn't aware of the search function, so I've now found some more answers there too.
    Thanks again
