How do you motivate yourself and stop sabatoging yourself?

I posted this in my challenge forum but I wanted some other opinions too.
Well, I'm leaving for Spring Break on Friday and not getting back and settled until next Saturday. I'm REALLY ready for the break from school, but I'm less than thrilled that I'll be in a bikini at my current ...physique. The past few days I've been really hard on myself with the weight gain so far this year and the lack of sticking to a workout schedule.
Right now, I'm telling myself to just let go of all mental stress and enjoy the time away from home, enjoy the sun, and enjoy the beach. Believe me, that's the easy part. I want to start back in on a good workout and eating routine the Monday I'm back. The issue with that is that the ONLY time I have to workout is in the morning (...around 5:30. grumble) Now, the issue is that I can get up once, maybe twice, in the morning to workout. After that, I tell myself that sleep is more of the stress relief I need that day. ..And then I feel stressed that I'm not working out. It's a spiral.
How do you motivate yourself to get your butt out of bed and workout? Especially early in the morning? I really want to be successful and I feel like I keep sabotaging myself.

Remind yourself how badly you want this. Remind yourself how much better you feel when you do it. Go to bed earlier if possible. IF for some reason you really can't get up, then find a way to workout during the day... even if it's only for 10 minutes. Every little bit helps!0

You said that may be able to get yourself up 2-3 times a week for a workout...that's fine! I would say, just try to pay more attention to your food then, park farther away at school (if you can without time constraints), take the stairs, etc. I understand the lack of time with school....I've been in school for 22 total years! (K-12, 4 years of undergrad, 3 years masters # 1 (it was parttime), 2 years masters #2, and then coming up on another 3-4 years for the doctorate)
It's STRESSFULL!!! And you can't get down on yourself about it that much now, while you are in school to better yourself in a different area. You can't do everything at once! Maybe....next semester, or the summer, if things are a little less busy, you can get back in the grove. I'm not saying go out of it completely, but I wouldn't beat yourself up too hard. You're doing GREAT!!0 -
i can't speak from experience (if i worked out at 5am my kids would all run out of their rooms asking for breakfast ! ) but how about leaving your bikini next to the alarm? i'd definitely set everything out the night before -workout clothes/shoes, water bottle filled in fridge- so you're mentally prepare for it before you even hit the pillow. set a reasonable bedtime and stick to it.0

Believe it or not- I've slept in my workout clothes before!!0
