Quick, Easy, No Mess, Tasty Lunch to Go Ideas?

I am running out of good ideas for my husband's lunch and would love some new ones. He is underway (on a boat) for most the day. He has access to a microwave but, usually, no time to use it. Any snacks or grab and go ideas without the calories would be helpful. (he is tired of carrots and cauliflower...lol)

a quick go-to for me:
whole wheat penne pasta (about 200 cals per 3/4 cup)
1-2 boneless/skinless chicken breast - (approx. 120 cals per piece)
1 or 2 servings (1/4 cup) of Bertoli 4 cheese Rosa sauce (depends on the amt of pasta i cook) - about 120 cals per 1/4 cup
I suggest measuring the pasta and sauce per serving size so that if you make a big batch (i usually do) you can divide up into gladware containers and freeze/refigerate for several meals but still have a fairly accurate idea of the cals in each portion
For a hearty pasta dish with lots of protein from the chicken, an adequate portion still comes in under 500 cals. i thought i would hate whole wheat pasta, but i've found its actually quite similar in taste to regular and the fact that it's pasta means i can eat less but feel more full.0 -
make him turkey wraps and cut them up into lil pinwheels. throw them into a ziplock and it will be a nice snak for him.0
