I've gained 6lbs in a month, so I know how you feel. That's why I'm here (my 3rd day). I've found some wonderful new friends and they help me stay motivated. Welcome!

Stay on here - track everything and don't give up if you have a bad day. Look for encouragement from your fellow weight loss pals and stay strong!!!!!
  • Stick with it! The trackers really help and the people on here are soo encouraging. It's always nice to know that you're not alone

I know how you feel, I am having a really hard time getting motivated again. I know I've gained a few pounds back but I am to scared to get on a scale and see just how much. You can get back on track its just a matter of putting your mind to it, I know I can and so can you, good luck.

Hey there, don't be discouraged. There are a lot of things that can cause the weight gain. Embarrassing questions like: "are you going through menopause", "are you pre-menopausal" and "how have your periods been" all come to mind. The questions surrounding the female body are very big ones that you should answer before you get totally discouraged about weight gain.

Water retention and water intake both also could be contributing to your weight gain. How about stress? Are you feeling pressured or anxious?

And of course, are you on any meds that could be contributing? Even if you've been on them a while, if you're taking meds that list weight gain as a side effect, you might consider talking to your doctor.

Only after you've explored all the reasons that have nothing to do with exercise and diet should you begin to consider your personal habits. Fifteen pounds really is a lot to gain in just two months so I would be willing to bet that at least a few have to do with meds, female parts and especially water.

But don't worry. Even if you do determine that it's from diet, we're all in this together and we will be here to support you.
