http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/1FITmamaofTWINS/view/eat-fat-get-fat-it-s-really-that-simple-77390 - THIS! I feel like she's talking about me. I'm at my goal weight but my body doesn't look the way I imagined it will. I'm still soft around the tummy (make it pudgy), a little arm and thigh flab. And I thought at 115 I'd be smokin' hot....not! I seriously need to get my food in check. I hardly eat pizza or burgers, maybe once or twice a month but I think it's the snacks. Can anyone review my food diary and offer some pointers? I'm a full time student and live with my family so I have basically no control over the food that's being cooked or the grocery being bought. :/

Any ideas will be appreciated. <3

This is going to depend on your goals and your activity. I'd say you're looking pretty good overall. I might up your fiber and protein intake though. What are your goals? What is your activity level? What kind of cardio do you do? What kind of weights?

I don't think it's your diet, especially since you've reached your goal weight. You're describing the "skinny fat" syndrome. Earlier today someone posted a thread about this, just use the Search function to find it, it's worth reading. The only way to cure what you described below is by exercising, including weight-lifting (strength-training) to tone your muscles. Diet can only get you so far.

For cardio I do the Insanity workouts with a bit of Jillian Michaels, Jump rope and manual treadmill.
I'm 5'5 and my weight is 115 lbs but I still feel pudgy all over. My goal is to get my body fat % down.

    edit:
Yes yes! Skinny fat is the word! I need some solid strength training then! Thanks!

You're exactly right, its your body fat. Weight only tells you half the story, body fat the other. Try working out with some weights, it will help on growth hormone, insulin sensitivity, and fat oxidation.

I see you aren't tracking your sodium.

I discovered what sodium does to my belly! OMG! I realized I was about 2500 or more a day and then I lowered it to be under 2000, preferably under 1900 and the difference was amazing. My 'pooch' in my belly was gone in a week.

So many great suggestions! Thank you everyone. Can I add you all as friends?

that_girl: Which nutrient should I stop tracking so that I can add sodium? Thankfully, I don't crave salty food often.

I'd say get rid of sugar. If you're tracking your carbs appropriately enough, and you don't go for processed or the sweet stuff, you'll do with replacing sodium for sugar.
