Just Dance 2 and HRM

OMG I love Just Dance 2. My daughter and I "played" for just over a 1/2 an hour and my HRM says I burned 307 calories.

Does that sound right? Because if so I think I found my new workout!

If you have a HRM and Just Dance 1 or 2 what are your burns like?

    I have Dance Central for Kinect and burn about that in 40 minutes or so depending on which dances Im doing and if I am playing alone or dance battle mode ... I too use a hrm!

    I just bought Michael Jackson: the Experience and it is an intense workout as well.

    Ya we did a challenge and 5 songs turned into 6 then 7 then I turned it off...LOL.

    LOVE it!!

    OHH tell me more about MJ Experience...Looks pretty cool ... Want that one too :)

    First of all, the songs are awesome... lol of course. It has a "training school" mode so you can learn how to even hope to imitate the King of Pop. The dance routines are incredibly intense, even on easy, and the hardest difficulty is, I believe "inhuman." I also have the Dance on Broadway one and though that one is good, the MJ Experience one is leaps and bounds above it. There are really fun songs: Beat It, Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, Thriller, so it's easy to get into it and just keep playing because the music is just so great.

    2 songs in and I was already sweating like crazy, but it is definitely one of those games you never want to stop. Graphics are pretty awesome too.

    What's the music like on JD2? Is it worth the price?

    I borrowed it from a friend so I cannot comment on price but I am sure it is worth it. I work my butt off on EA Sports Active 2 and in that amount of time only burn maybe half and this doesn't seem like "work".

    JD2 can be bought on wii and I got mine for 30 bucks at GameStop. I have seen it for as much as 40. I love mine it is just too much fun!!!!! I "played" it for almost two hours the other night! You can get carried away its so much fun.

    I burn about 300 calories for 30 minutes on Just Dance 2 using my heart rate monitor. I like to do the shuffle mix so I don't waste time picking a song and also to change things up. I got mine for the WII at Best buy for $40.
