I picked up a bottle of the quicktrim 48 hour cleanse yesterday and started before breakfast. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried this and what they thought about it. I am not doing the pills, just wanted to do the cleanse. Thanks

I guess my question is what are you hoping to achieve with a cleanse? IMO, they aren't helpful (long-term) and are potentially harmful. There are no quick fixes.0

ive done it, but really all your going to do is POO alot and then you might even see a slight gain afterwards b/c your body will be needing to gain back some water weight b/c u will be POOING so much.
make sure you get in a ton of water...
Its not a weight lose thing, just more a cleaner of the digestive track.
Like most products that are made for cleaning you out. I would suggest going with a more healthy approach when doing this and use something like miralax or a sodium salt 10oz from the pharmacy
I was always told to do those for a cleaner before I have upper and lower GI testing done or a colon check0 -
Just to beat this bloat. You take the drink in between meals, but you stay away from sugar, caffeine, protein.... Eat lots of fruits, veggies, clear soups ( I am guessing like chicken soup) jello, water, tea...... for 48 hours. I don't plan on doing this for a long time.0

Not sure about the cleanse, but the pills were a horrible experience for me, and did not help me lose any weight at all. I have a pretty strong stomach, and all those pills did was make me sick for a week, despite taking them with food every time. Money down the drain. I'm all for a good cleanse, but the Quicktrim product was a disaster.0

i am native american and we do a ritual cleanse each spring. it's just 3 days and i feel better afterwards and then move on reemphasizing diet and exercise. despite eating better, i feel there are more pollutants we are exposed to in our everyday lives now and i do feel an energy boost afterwards. the Chinese also do a similar routine and i have several friends on here who have done a cleanse before starting their new eating plans. good luck!0

Thanks everyone! I think I will just skip it. I have been doing pretty good on my own, and I really don't want to mess up my stomach. I will just be extra aware of my sodium intake.0
