Hey all!

Have you noticed since taking something out of your diet, or changing your exercise to something a little different that your weight has gone down? I seem to have a fairly normal food (and healthy) routine but my weight loss is not happening! Also exercising 4-5 times a week and drinking plenty of water!

My gym trainer/nutritionist was just talking about this topic today in the seminar. She said everyone is react differently to different kind of food. Try to take out (or decrease big) one type of food (like carb, or dairy), and see how your body react to that.

I've only been off diet soda about a week so I don't know first hand... but everyone's telling me it's going to make a drastic difference.

Can't see your diary, but FIBER, FIBER, FIBER. It pushes everything on through! I've noticed a big difference when I started to push my daily fiber intake. I shoot for 30 grams, but am happy if I get 20-25!

I cut out all soda as a new years resolution, and added in water and juices instead. I've seen drastic results and feel so much healthier.
  • You have to "re-set" your body first sometimes. What I mean is go 6-9 days with NO sodium and cut sugars to 10-20% reccomended on mfp. Then slowly introduce sodium with a not to exceed of 1,700 mg per day.

I switched to a vegan diet. I've also discovered protein shakes which really fill me up after a meal or work out. I burn around 500 cals per day and never go below 1700 calories. I also eat only when I'm I'm hungry, eat slowly, and stop when I'm full. I'm not into this "eating exercise calories purely for the sake of eating them" malarky!

Started looking at my foods and it says my chicken, with no spices, has sodium! What foods don't have sodium, if you don't mind me asking

    with a great routine above,
I've added a significant program involving weights, BodyPump and BootCamp, in particular. They have totally changed my burn! None of that 2 - 3 pounders, instead using 15 - 20 lbs, enough that 3 reps of 12, really burns.

In 8 months I saw no drop in weight. Then, with a weights regimen I was able to drop 8lbs in one month! Amazing  that's doing 3 one hour sessions a week, plus a couple days of Zumba, and intervals on the weekend.
