TMI Alert: If you have a very weak stomach, please note that I am going to name a couple of symptoms that might gross you out. Just a head's up so you can close the window if you need to. (Sometimes any little thing is too much for me.)

Hi, there,
I'm not a big cake or sweets fan. However, last night, on a whim, I decided to sacrifice my last 410 calories for a microwaveable mini chocolate "molten" cake. It tasted fine. Nothing great. Certainly not gross.
Here I am a few hours later and my stomach is upset, I just had diarrhea. My nose is all stuffy and the back of my throat is sore. This all just developed in the last hour. I haven't left the house in two days so the chances of it being something I caught from someone else are slim, right? I mean, it's just me and the dogs.
Is this a food allergy? I don't have a doctor and wouldn't go to one over something so trivial even if I did, but does it sound like a food allergy/sensitivity to anyone? I'm thinking gluten or wheat or something?
I appreciate any advice! Please say where you got your information (such as personal experience, a family member, your doctor, an online article, etc). THANKS!

Well it could all be related. Have you ever eaten this product before? I hadn't had donuts in like a year (before that I had at least one a week). Any way I had one at a work "food day". It was really weird. I got all jacked up on the sugar (you would have thought I'd been drinking), The next thing I'm sweating and my belly is BAD! About an hour later I was fine. I've not had a donut since.0

No, I've not had them before. The upset stomach is gone but I feel like I have a cold, now. Stuffy, runny nose and tickly, sore throat. Watery eyes. Too strange.0
