Another New Start

Alright so lately ive been a bit depressed since i realized ive gained 20 lbs since october 2009, a month after my third child was born. 20 POUNDS!!! That to me is CRAZY! :frown:

My one sister is part of a gym, and my other sister is joining this weekend. They want me to join but i figured it out to be a 30 minute drive there, workout, and then 30 minutes back. With me being a stay at home mom that just seems very "impossible" to me.

So ive decided its time for ANOTHER NEW START! I do have an elliptical machine, and the wii with EA Sports Active 2, and The BLC game, so between all of that and the road outside, i can do this!

I think one of my biggest problems is my eating. I buy fruits and stuff but i also buy some junk and easier to make meals for the kids. Which i do tend to eat at times. However, i figure i need to get my kids eating with me too so that they dont grow up having problems like me.

So sorry if you stumbled accross this thinking it might be good and something useful for you to read and its not, but i had to put it out there that this is it! Another new start for me! and im hoping the LAST!

Thanks for listening MFP pals

    Good for you!

This is probably the 18th time I've tried to get healthier (and skinnier) since putting on all the comfort weight when I started going out with my current partner 8 years ago. I have had gym memberships and shakes, I have given up on all of them and had tones of excuses why...lol

So now I have been working out from home, its not cost me much only the price of a few workout dvds and I am loving it, I don't have to worry about going to a gym and feel like people are judging me (very self conscience)

So good luck on your NEW START!

Good for you xx I always think the important thing is to not give up trying. If one thing doesn't work then try something else. Something will work in the end. It has to if you are motivated enough.

    Well done for starting again.

If we don't start we can never move forward and be healthier. Good for you for sticking with it! You can do it!
