Hey all! I'm in the process of revamping my music and I've got a lot of really great songs thus far to workout too. I got a little ACDC, Metallica, Korn, Aerosmith, Usher, No Doubt, Beastie Boys, Beyonce, and many more! But I still need some "get pumped" music. Any suggestions? I love all genres of music so don't be shy in your suggestions. Thanks folks!

well i listen to a lot of NWA and Rancid. I like punk (real punk not the blink 182's) because the songs are short and i am not waiting for a song to change while struggling with whatever workout im doing :)

Some specifics that make me push a little harder when they come on the IPOD:

    Drowning Pool - "soldiers"
    Lady Sovereign - "Public Warning"
The Dollyrots - "Because I'm Awesome."
Kevin Rudolph - "Let It Rock"

    Generally...

    Fatboy Slim
    Chemical Brothers
Pink (especially Trouble & Feel Good Time - loads of kick-*kitten* attitude!)

And when I really want to up the pace...

Asian Dub Foundation: Real Great Britain
    Vampire Weekend: A-Punk
Transglobal Underground: The Khaleegi Stomp (the fast version from Impossible Broadcasting)

Maybe a bit too specific, but I can never tire of these songs - they just make me feel energised!

Chicane - Saltwater and of course Survivor - Eye of the tiger (Rocky theme tune)

I like to picture myself running up those steps with everyone cheering me on like Rocky in the film. Other songs I like to pretend I am filming a music video! Ha ha. Am I a weirdo?

Sometimes I like to go old school (well from well before I was born) with Jackson 5, ABC is a good song to get moving too.

I'm going to throw some Britney and Prodigy on there though! Good call.

Prodigy yes! It really spurs you on. I also find that when I play it in the car I need to keep checking my speed cos it always makes me drive too fast! Any music that makes you drive too fast has gotta be good for working out!
