I've been a member for a while, though not consistently. When I first joined in 2009 I did really well and got down to my goal weight of 130 (from 150). Well its now March 2011 and I am now 170 (and not making any excuses for how I got here),this is the most I have ever weighed (I am 5'2"). I'm trying to get back into the swing of things again but am having trouble getting motivated. I dont have the same tools available to me as I had before (i.e. gym that has NUMEROUS class and types of equipment).
My family and friends all support me and what my goals are, they just dont want to partake in this adventure with me. I am looking for someone who is either in the same situation, looking to get started, or someone who would just be willing to go the course with me. I am looking to work with someone so we can hold eachother accountable, to check in to each day or week, and to keep eachother on track.
Is anyone interested???

I would be more than happy to go the course with you! I have 79 more pounds to lose and I am on a mission! Just let me know I am tough though...J/K being healthy is a life time achievement and it takes some permanent changes...It’s a day to day struggle for me and a lifelong battle I am going to win!0

I would totally be down with that.... I love the encouragement of MFP, but I actually need someone to be all like, "You ate WHAT???" :-P
I have 15-20 more pounds to go, but they will be the hardest ever. I've never been below 159lbs, and I'm trying to get to 145-150, and part of me thinks, "whatever, you're never going to get there." Someone who would keep me accountable might help me get there.
Friend me if you'd like!

 Thanks for the willingness to help! What I'd like to do is keep in touch every week on our progress, weight change, workouts that we like, whatever really. Just to have someone to report to. I find that if I need to report my progress to someone, I'll do better.
I'd like to list my stats as a starting point
Starting Weight 172
Current Weight 172
Goal Weight 130
And we can go from there, just message or reply to this post each week whenever you want to update and we can keep in touch from there!!
Again, thanks for the help guys!!0 -
I'm in... I just started yesterday. I bought a new treadmill this year and have plenty of video's including 30 day shred.... now I just need to use them!!! I think this would help!
