All 205 pounds of my body, lifted up into an unassisted headstand!

I feel corny posting about that here, but I have been on cloud nine ever since I did that. It is amazing what our bodies can do when we stop listening to all those internal voices that say, "I can’t."

That is amazing!! That gives me hope. A friend told me about Bikram Yoga (Yoga just for fluffy people...). I want to try it. I have gone to 1 Yoga class and the instructor was going from pose to pose way to fast. I did my best to keep up, but it was frustrating. Thanks for sharing your success!

I am looking into Bikram, actually. Because it’s supposed to be awesome for melting fat. But I sweat a ton in my regular yoga class. I’m afraid of how soaked I would be in 105 degree room with 40% humidity!

I have been going to Hot Yoga (Bikram and Vinyasa) for 7 months and I still can't do a headstand! Congratulations. You should be proud. I am proud when I complete a class without yelling at myself in my head. :)

Good job. I was shocked yesterday doing the simple forward fold, that my nose touched my knees. Amazing how that belly used to get in the way.
