Does anyone have any ideas of ways to stay on track on a weekend?
From 7pm on a Friday to Monday mornings I find I lose all self control. I like exercise so that has never been an issue and will always get a workout in but my food/drink choices are ridiculous. I do not calorie count over the weekend and can't seem to say no to temptation. During the working week I'm absolutely fine and can easily say no to temptations.
Each weekend I mentally say I am going to be good and count all calories like during the week but it NEVER happens.
Unfortunately for the next few months I have something on every single weekend like going to friends house for food, going on birthday nights out round town etc...

i am EXACTLY the same - i do my best to stay on track during the working week but as soon as Friday night hits all calorie counting goes out of the window. i have done this since the beginning and have lost 9lb - 2 more to go and i'm at my goal weight - so i dont think it does any harm to have a little bit of what you fancy at the weekends!0

I was the exact same way, so what I do is starting Friday, I have a late breakfast, for lunch a lite lunch (sandwich & fruit) or soup and salad, so for dinner that would allow me a little bit more to eat and maybe 1-2 drinks. However, make sure you are not going to bed until 2 hours after eating/drink.
For Saturday and Sunday - I stick with two meals only (late breakfast and dinner) and a snack before going to bed.
However, I do count caloires - because if you don't count them - out of sight out of mind. Try it and let me know how it goes.
