Hi there my name is Michele, I have once again started an attempt at weight loss. I have three kids (4, 2 and 4 weeks). I have never gotten back to my pre-pregnancy weight after any of them (let alone my desired weight). So I thought I would introduce myself and see what happens from there.

    I'm pretty sure you'll be able to reach your goal this time. This site is just the best. I only started this week but i can tell you this, the ppl here are great. You'll learn alot. I have littles goals for myself and each time i achieve one i celebrate either with a new book, a movie just little stuff that i wouldn't usually do.
  • Welcome aboard and good luck! I am sure with three little kids, you'll have no problem with the exercise portion :wink:

    My advice for what has to be a very busy life: log your food ahead of time and stick to it. It helps me avoid those moments of temptation.

  • you will find awesome support here! start little by little, every day do something towards your goal and don't give when things don't go as planned for the day. this is a daily effort towards the greater goal. just stick to the program! do you have ideas for your workouts?
  • Thanks to everyone for chiming in with hellos and support. I have no concrete plans for exercise. I purchased an exercise ball & dvd last night but it is still in the van as if my kids see it I've lost it.lol I do have an eliptical trainer, it is a little bit broken (once again thanks to the kids playing with it) but it still works. My problem is getting on it --I hate that thing. I love walking but have no room for a treadmill and by the time the kids are in bed it is too late to go for a walk/run outside. Besides it is starting to get cold here and in another month it will be took and boot season. :(

    welcome! I too have 3 little ones. (4,2, 3 months. ) Its going to be a lot of work but we are mothers and we can do anything! good luck and welcome! katika
