Me either.. I chew each piece for ever anyway, so I'm sure I'll burn those 5 calories back off... plus some.0

Yes, I do. Usually 5 calories for my Eclipse gum.0
-
yep. and cough drops too.0
-
I don't chew gum but if I did I probably wouldn't.0
-
Yes, 4-5 cals + 1 carb per piece.
The only thing I don't count is water. It artificially increases my sodium intake and to counter higher sodium levels you need to increase water consumption so its a vicious cycle + 0 cals, no need to log if it has 0 nutritional content0 -

Never thought about that!0 -
Nope. I figure I burn the 5-10 calories by chewing anyway. I just try not to chew more than 2 pieces a day.0

I think it balances out considering you could burn the amount of calories in gum just by chewing it, so no, I don't count it.0
-
no but I don't chew it very often either0
-
Yea...and when I was sick I was doing Cough drops! I didn't know there was like 8 calories in each one. crazy!0

ps...plus the carbs in gum are usually sugar alcohol, so nope.0
-
I do so I can track my sugar properly.0

If I think about it but I add 30 calories per day for tastes...so my 2 cals per gum would be covered
"Tastes" are for when I taste the food I'm preparing...and i'm talking a taste, not a bite more a lick0 -
I don't chew gum normally but I'm kind of crazy about logging things so who knows. The sane part of me would like to say no. I suppose it also depends on how much you chew on a daily basis too. If your chewing like 10 pieces of cum a day or something crazy like that, that's 50 cals.0

I do no log gum or cough drops. I figure I burn some of the calories chewing or coughing...0
-
I don't. You burn MORE calories chewing gum than gum actually has in it. According to http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/48463 you burn about 11 calories per hour chewing gum.0

I only taste what's left on the spoon after measuring, so it's already accounted for in the recipe. I cook for just me, so I end up eating the whole thing over a few days.0 -
Yes. And Dayquil. And Altoids.0
