Snacks

I am open to any suggestions for snacks. Im looking for anything under 7 grams of fat, and keep in mind this is my after dinner snack, so i usually go for something salty. I'm tired of pretzles, baked chips, pirates booty, veggie chips, and pop corn. I like wheat thins but i feel like that just too much fat for me for 16 stupid crackers.
Also something that would go good with hummus? Any suggestions? Ready. Set. Go Community Go!

I know you said you are tired of popcorn but if you mix it with craisins and almonds it makes a great snack that is nutritious!!0

if u like hummas...i love cucumber slices in hummus..if you want them "salty"ish sprinkle a bit of garlic powder on them. although if you are doing store bought hummus there is enough sodium in the hummus naturally.0

Mini rice sesame crackers from Trader Joe's are a great snack, low in cal and fat and wonderful with hummus. They have a larger version of the same cracker too, I just usually go for the mini. Just went to look, the exact name is "Savory Thin Mini Crackers." They have original and a soy flavor. 37 crackers for 130 cal, 2.5 g fat, 1g fiber. If you don't have Trader Joe's you should be able to find other rice crackers.
Another crunchy snack is roasted chickpeas. Drain and rinse a can and dry on paper towels, Spray with Pam or a add a little oil and whatever seasonings you want. I usually just do sea salt and red pepper flakes, but you can also place them in white vinegar, bring to a boil, and then let soak for 1/2 hour before drying and salting for delicious salt and vinegar flavor. Bake on a cookie sheet at 400* until they are as crunchy as you want. Stir every 10-15 minutes. I think it takes 30-45 min to reach the level of crunch I like. If you cook too long they are crunchy little husks, I like to take them out a bit before that so they still have a bit of substance.0 -
Pita Chips! You can buy them ready made or make your own, they go great with hummus!0
