Mason twist hurts my @$$!

Not kicks my *kitten* like it's supposed to... Hurts my tailbone... I can't for the life of me figure out how to do this ab ripper X finale... Every time I just end up doing regular crunches instead.

I do it just like Tony and the others in the vid and It feels like I'm trying to balance on the tip of my tail bone. The mats at the gym are fairly thick and so is mine at home, I can't imagine more cushion fixing the problem.

I get the same thing during crunchy frog but with that I can just lean over onto one butt cheek for half and then the other for half, but with MT and the side to side motion, it's excruciating.

Anyone else have this problem? And before you ask, I do not have a small or bony *kitten*... It's quite large actually! :P

I used to have pain during ARX at many places in the routine...some of the exercises where you have to put your arms flat on the ground beside your body, I have to put my hands under my butt or my hip flexors scream at me...for mason twists, I've actually had to sit on a soft pillow. It may look funny, but it works.

I've never done it but I you-tubed it, yipes, I can imagine that a pillow might work, or one of those special donut pillows.

Hmm, I'm going to try the donut pillow, that should work for when I'm at home... definitely not going to take that to the gym though, hahaha :D
