1 Goal reached and I just want to share!

I know it's not a huge deal or anything major but I'm really happy about and I want to share it. I decided to start running a few months ago and it's been hard to stick with. I was alternating running and walking for 1 mile, and once I was able to run the entire mile I would run for longer each day. Tonite I ran the entire mile! And it wasn't a huge struggle like usual. Had some good music and found a good pace. I feel sooo good that I was able to accomplish this. Now I'm really excited to run for longer and farther each day now!!! I feel like I'm well on my way to losing 15 pounds before my May wedding!!

Sounds like a big deal to me! I can't run to the end of the street without nearly passing out! Either that or my knees giving out. Keep up the great work!!:flowerforyou:0

Congrats. I'm still trying to do the whole mile. I now I will get there just like you did. I think one of my biggest factors is my excess weight, my knees literally hurt when I run too much, but as my weight slightly decreases I find that I am able to run just a little farther. Thanks for the post I know that if you did it I can do it to : )0
