I'm not even close to planning stoping my deiting.. but Im slightly frustrated today.
I feel like I have done great dieting ( I cant remember how long I have been doing it 4-6 weeks is my guess)
and I feel like nothing is changing..
Ive only lost 4 pounds, and hardly any inches
I dont even know what Im really doing wrong, I work out now at least 4 times a week in the gym, and I have eaten a ton better, and this is the results I get?
Im not giving up, I just feel like its not making a difference.
Im giving up elevators, eating after 8, and fried foods for lent (although Im not Cathlic, Im trying anything)
Sorry for the rant, I'm just upset today.
I'm tired of stepping on the scale and seeing the ups and downs.

Good luck on your journey0 -
4 lbs in 4-6 weeks is good. You are only supposed to lose a pound a week, any more than that can be unhealthy or water weight. Hang in there!

I'm not trying to be disrespectful but if you are on a diet you should not be eating fried foods. Eat lots of vegtables and lean meat and more protein (it fills you up). Also do more cardio or for longer (not sure what your doing now). How many calories do you intake in a day?0

You can eat after 8pm. Having something with good protein before bed can kick in your fat burning hormone. As long as you aren't having a full dinner then laying down right after there is nothing wrong with eating at night. The body burns calories 24/7.
What about your calorie goal. If it is too low for too long it an actually slow weight loss, even stop it. Read the links that you see. There's one in my signature called "Links in MFP you want to read again and again..." It has a lot of great info that might help.
And you're still losing. Slow is the healthiest and safest way!0 -
About 6 weeks into my weight loss, I got stuck on a three pound roller coaster. I'd lose a pound, then go up two, then lose one, then back up, over and over. It lasted for weeks. I've just finally started losing again. Keep at it! It's so easy to get discouraged, but if you're entering all your food, it 's gonna work. Also make sure you're getting lot's of fruit and veggies. :flowerforyou:0

I hit a wall about three months ago couldn't drop a pound no matter how well I ate or how hard I worked out.Keep pushing through it will pay off. Finally the pounds are just melting off I'm shocked every time I get on the scale:)Keep the faith..Push Harder the result will show in the end. Wishing u the best of luck A0

I know how you feel. I've been going to the gym since November and hadn't lost anything. I changed my eating habits some ... changed to whole wheats and substituted ground beef for ground turkey but it wasn't enough. I just joined MFP last week. Now that I'm counting the calories, I get it. I figured out that I could lift more weight than I thought in the gym so I increased everything. I do the eliptical instead of the treadmill which is so much easier on my shins. I also joined a Zumba class which is so much fun! I lost 3lbs last week. Are there any personal trainers at your gym you can talk to? Tell them your situation they will be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck it will happen!0
