today was my weigh in and measurement day. i do this once a week on wednesday and today i saw HUGE results! i am thankful because i havent been doing great the last free weeks and the scales have shown it. i am back and doing great! today i decided to look up my previous weigh-in entries and compare today's results to the first time i weighed in and measured. here are the results...

total weight lost 21 lbs
inches off waist 4
inches off hips 5
inches off thighs 2
inches off arms 1
inches off chest 1
inches off neck 1

like i said, i am very excited about this, but little confused as well. if i have lost 4 inches in my waist and 5 in my hips, shouldnt i be down a dress/pants size? when i first started with MFP i dropped a pants size the first week. those same pants i can now take off and put on without unbuttoning or unzipping BUT the next size down wont go over my hips. i cant even pull them all the way up. how does that happen? so until they do, i am stuck in this awkward jean size where they look really big and baggy...so annoying! hopefully this will change soon! has this happened to anyone else? how many inches do you have to lose to drop a dress/pants size??

How many different brands have pants have you tried? I find that to make a HUGE difference. Some brands I have no problem in a smaller size but if I try a different brand I can't even get them past my thighs. You're results are amazing and you should be able to get into that smaller size in no time! :-) Keep up the great work!

You only lost 1 inch off your chest? That's incredible. Thats usually the first place I lose the most inches.

it was 3 or 4 different brands. some of my pants that i fit in now fit comfortably. but the 1 pair i bought right away of the lower size is the one i can take off without unbuttoning. i guess i will check out that same exact brand and see if i can fit a smaller one now. and thank you :)
