Sadly, I am an all or nothing kind of person when it comes to weight loss so I am very strict with myself although once I get into a healthier eating routine I don't really miss junk food anyway and don't really have any cravings. If I go over some on carbs I don't worry because I am usually way under on fat. I also keep track of my protein, fibre and sodium intake.
I haven't started exercising yet since the only exercise I like is outdoor hiking and it is too cold here for that (well, too cold for me...lol). Once I do start exercising I will likely hit a plateau for a month or two which happened last time.

I think my scale is broken, it keeps going up, one measly pound gain! Geez!
I finally got motivated actually yesterday morning, I did my new thing. Well can I call it my new thing? I did step aerobix (sp?) with the wii. It has been nearly a year since I have done it, does it count? I figured that it is really the only exercise that I can do with my shoulder still bothering me. I do though have some good news, I am going for my massage tonightI am hoping that it will do the trick and I can get back into it full force. I think what I will do is to continue step with the wii until next Tuesday. And next Tuesday is actually my birthday, and it will be the beginning of my new challenge. I will have exactly one year. I want to be down to at most 170 by my 30th birthday.
Congrats to those that lost and to those that aren't the biggest loser, hehe :laugh: .

I did some Zumba today again. FUN!!
Update on my heart - found out holter monitor read 201 bpm at highest rate. My doctor had her baby today so another doctor took over my records and said there was nothing to worry about. Called another doctor for a second opinion (this guy is a runner- LOL) and he is very concerned. He is going to have a cardiologist look at my holter results and then decide what to do from there. He might feel there's nothing to worry about and that I just have a high reading heart rate. Or he might feel there needs to be something done. So...now it's another waiting game. But at least I have found out nothing is wrong with it while I'm not running and that's seriously exciting news for me.I'm trying to stay positive and happy about all this.
Lauren - my scale hasn't been nice either! And sorry your shoulder is still bothering you. Have fun with your massage.
Datenshi - I like junk food...haven't had too much lately, but now and then, I crave it and I run just so I can get my fix. Doretos are a weakness.0 -

maybe i will start the spring cleaning on my bedroom. that should take a few days. since we just put stuff away when we moved in last year and never really went through and organized. been waiting for son to leave to do it. he has all the spare room in the spare room he's staying in. soon very soon.

sorry not checked in over the last few days, this week has been nuts at work,. i'm doing ok,,,, bit weird without my scales!? the exercise has died off this week but thats just cos i have been so long at work.

well, son and i went out to do some cheap shopping. we found his counter & sink for $15 and a baggie of knobs for 6. he found a couch he wants to get for 90. and a few pieces of wood. all at the habitat store.
than at walmart he got his roof sealer $20 cheaper than lowes and a few other items.
than he bought me lunch at KFC. haven't had them in awhile.
making chicken chili for biggest loser (tuesdays night) for dinner.

Cold is much better ...It's 1:30 PM and I already have done my walk.....usually do it about 3:00pm while hubby has gone to pick up his school bus kids......but I did it earlier since I'm fixing to get the house cleaned up and everything done as next week we have Doctors appointments and errands to run before we start spring break the 18th........we have a camping trip planned........keeping our fingers crossed for nice weather.......0

DH at work, son just left to go work on trailer. i think i am going to get my house cleaned and maybe go to the trailer later to help. i haven't had my house empty in the mornings in a very long time. that's when i like to get my house work done.

Good afternoon all!
Went for my massage Wednesday, and still today feel like I brutally beaten and then hit by a mac truck. With that said, I did NOT by no means work out yesterday or day, I am taking things easy. DH hates his job! He is gone all week long, he can't sleep and hates being away from us that long. I have found some places that I would like to apply for him, but I am waiting on my neighbor to do finishing touches to DH's resume. I will tell you the problem that he or shall I say "we". All the places that he has applied for are all online. How are you suppose to touch base with people in regards to your application if you emailed it in to no specific person?
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Not really all the anxious about weigh-in next week. My birthday again in on Tuesday, so we are celebrating Saturday night. I figured I should spurge a little, we are having Mexican. And with Mexican food comes mango margaritas...yum...I can't wait, it's been too long!!

Wish I could say I have no idea how this happened, but I'd be lying. My guess is my binging for the last two weeks every day has been catching up. Yesterday was my first successful day of NOT binging, so hopefully the weigh for next week will get me back to 130. I hope. Not happy with myself this challenge. Once again I apologise for not checking in but I've been busy..... Stuffing my face with crisps and pizza. Bad times!!! I fell over the wagon so hard and fast I was face deep in a Dominoes Meat Feast before I could take a breath!!! But that was yesterday and this is today. I'm starting again and I'm doing the tesco food shop so will stock up on the lovely healthy greens!!
Its my period at the moment and I was a bit hungover so that's my excuse. No more excuses because I still feel hungover today but its a carb hangover and nothing to do with too much Pinot Grigio.
This morning I'm food shopping and this afternoon I am cleaning the whole house and doing all the washing. Theni I'm going to sit down and work out the plan for the week!! See..... This is what happens when I have no scales!? I have no sense of staying on track!!0 -

Just realized I never weighed in! Not that it mattered much because it didn't change. I'm getting very frustrated. I know my body is stuck in a rut, but I have 1 month of classes left at the Y before I cancel my membership so it's not like I want to change it up right now. i added like an hour+ of walking each day though because I'm training for a marathon and I thought that would help but NIL! Ugh... happy thoughts, happy thoughts. I will get through this.0 -
Whew. A mystery solved. So I spent last week binging horribly with an unsurprising weight gain...only to have my TOM come 5 days early. Aaahhhh, that makes a little more sense. So although I'm not thrilled about my lack of self-control or the weight gain, at least I know that there is somewhat of an explanation. That being said, after having a very stressful conversation along with cramps and anemia last night with a huge craving for a cheeseburger when I got home, I saw it for what it was, emotions and stress, and simply went to bed feeling pretty good about recognizing the trigger points and walking away. On to a new week and a new challenge.0

i am feeling so blahhhh. i ate all weekend. all bad all tasted good. left me up 5-6#s. so don't know what tomorrows weigh in will be for the end of challenge.
i do to myself. i don't need to keep up with DH who can pack it away and comes in only weigh about 10#s more than he did in high school, and he's older than me. i can't do that, i can't eat the good food all the time or so much of it. i can't eat the carbs and not lose weight. so off i go into my self pity world for a bit.
off to get some things done and a trip to the gym

Momma, we need to get together and start walking in the evenings or something. I'm going to start the next challenge with ya'll. My Disney trip is getting closer and closer and I still ain't broke this stupid 200 crap. Let me know if you want to do something. Skyler will probably want to go too.0
