I feel like they recommend to many carbs. Is it possibly to loose when you are eating that many? I had 65 carbs left over today, but not many calories, -1 on fat and -21 on sugar....

I only have a small amount to loose - I am at 132 and I would like to get down to 122. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Every person's needs are different. While I think the settings for the carbs are high, that's me. Mine are set at 45%. Some would say that's too much.

    It works for me.

I cant eat all the carbs as prescribed. If I eat that amount of carb I get really bad stomachaches (bowel pain) so I dont and Ive been losing weight. Remember it is a guide go with what you feel best with that gives you results.

I set mine at 40-30-30 based on being a balanced oxidizer. I struggle to eat enough protein each day, but when hit these targets I feel great. Here is some info and a quiz you can take to determine your type and recommendations. You can go into your diary and change your percentages if you decide to make any changes.

I also don't like their prescribed ratio for the macros.

I have the most success when I have 40% carbs, 35% protein, and 25% fat. So I manually changed that as well as calorie level. My BMR is 1340, and you are supposed to be eating between BMR and TDEE for weight loss. So why would I eat 1200 calories which is below my BMR? Thank goodness we have the option to manually change the options to what works for us.

From your home menu, change goals, then custom. The guided will give you their recommendations without letting you change them.
