Hi everyone,
I am new on here, and in need of support. I have 82lbs to go to get to my goal weight. I started in mid-Jan and have lost 4lbs so far. I tried for a couple of weeks, and then gave up, and now i'm on here. I just joined the gym, but i need motivation and help with my eating. I keep going about 3-400 cals over my goal on days where I dont exercise. I cant keep away from the chocolate!
Would love to meet friends with similar goals so as we can motivate eachother!

Hi!! Step awaaaay from the candy. Chocolate is your nemesis...especiallty on days when you don't work out. You will find a lot of people here willing to encourage you and hold you accountable. Make friends and allow your diary to be viewed by friends. they can give you input on where you're veering off course. Best Wishes on you journey.0

Not all chocolate is your Nemesis though. I try to have one single serving piece of Dark Chocolate from the Natural food store. It really truly helps to keep me sane! The people on here are great for encouragement and support! I will send you a request. Good luck on your journey!0

Firstly well done in trying, too many people just simply don't bother. and we're always here to help, support and encourage so feel free to add me as a friend, I'm always happy to help. Also don't be too hard on yourself if you have a bad day, but also remember it will take will power and determination, and some find this easier than others. I really struggle but am lucky to have friends to help so welcome along and have faith :-)

YOU CAN DO IT!!!! Once you decide to make the commitment and start to lose the weight the feeling of accomplishment far outweighs the feeling of failing the diet... I'm a big sweet tooth and also love to bake, but once I decided to make the commitment, I just try not to think about SWEETS!!! I'm only on my first week, and it is hard but I just keep telling myself how happy I will be when the weight starts coming off.0

Hi Fitnessjch,
Good luck with the new diet. I found it really hard to stay away from chocolate to begin with bu I found that I had to break habits too. i.e picking up choc bar when getting petrol, getting chocolate when i pick up the paper. I started by just taking the right amount of cash into shops for whatever I needed so i could not impulse buy!!
I have also started seriously exercising and had someone else who is training me do my weigh ins! This makes me feel accountable and I cannot bear the thought of working so hard 3//4 times a week to NOT lose weight!! Its only my second weigh in tomorrow so fingers crossed!!
Picture your self slimmer and think what clothes you will will be able to wear. You will want that feeling!!!
Ive friend requested you so feel free if you wish to keep in touch!! I try to stay logged into this all day as I personally need to log everything else I imagine that i have been good!!0 -
Hi everyone,
I am new to this program. I looking to lose more than a few pounds. I hoping to lose at least 100 lbs because the weight I believe is affecting my health. I can't put on my on shocks and shoes anymore. I walk about five feet and I am out of breath. I have never been this big and I want to get this weight off.0 -
The more healthy you eat, the less you crave the bad stuff....I like to buy the 70% dark chocolate and eat one square maybe like twice a week....My downfall is Ice Cream...I get the no sugar added BlueBell, and I have to say it gets me through....But, again I only eat it at the most 3 times a week but shoot for 2 and only 2 scoops.0

I am also looking to lose a nice amount of weight....about 120 lbs for me. I know it can be really tough to not give into the cravings..especially at first. But all you can do is take it a day at a time do the best you can. I try to just have a small amount of whatever it is I'm craving. And only if it's a real kick in the pants kind of craving. If you want someone else to give you some motivation feel free to add me
and good LUCK!! 0 -
Remember slow and steady wins the race. Don't beat yourself up on days you aren't perfect! Just start over the next day0
