well, I just joined myfitnesspal about 5 minutes ago.
The situation is over the summer i went on the lipotrim diet and did well going from a size 18-20 down to a 12-14. turned out i could only take about a quater of each drink and made myself ill. had toi stop and since then i have gained over a stone more than my otiginal weight before lipotrim, so starting to panic a little bit. I feel healthy in my self but not confident in how I look.
I find that i tend to completely fluctuate in my eating habbits, 1 week i eat barely anything and the next im eating all the rubbish food i can find - but i cant find the links between it. most recently i did notice as i am nervous and scared with alot on my plate that i have been binge eating so i have gained alot in the last month, but other than that i can't see the connections.
so the bottom line is; i want to lose the weight for how i feel about my self, not for health reasons. any advice from those who have been here a while?

Hi,
I did Cambridge Diet in 2006 & stupidly did not do the maintenance at the end - I got down to a size 10, which I was probably aged 10 the last time I was that size!!!!
Unfortunately over the following 2 years I put back on all my weight, plus nearly an extra 3 stone and was a size 20/22 - not good, I was horrified how I looked & even though I have lost a little weight still do not like what I see in the mirror.
I have the same problem as you, but the amount on my plate doesn't bother me!!!
I either pick & eat very little or I stuff my face & have no answers as to why.......
I have tried to do Cambridge again, but just can't stick to it.
The food tracker will help you loads - I was surprised about the carb content in some foods, especially fruit!
I've had a few wobbles since being on here & haven't actually lost much weight as I keep yo-yoing.
But on the positive side I am on my 2nd week (again), lost 6lbs last week so am hoping for 1-2lbs per week.
It's not going to be a quick fix, but once I get there I want to maintain for life.
It will set your daily calories & a lot of food is already stored so you don't have to put all the nutritional values in & is the quickest way I have ever seen to count your food.
If you want to add me as a friend on here please do so.
Good Luck & Take Care,
