Honestly I am making sure that I am not doing it for anyone other than myself.
It is the only way that I have been successful this time around at this point in my life.

However, that being said, my MFP friends have truly inspired me recently now that I've gotten started.

My big brother. He died at the age of 31 from Pancreatic Cancer. I was holding his hand when he took his last breath. He fought so hard to live, how can I continue to take my health for granted? Last weekend, I celebrated my 32nd birthday...he never got to turn 32. So, if for whatever reason God still needs me on this Earth than I need to be the best me I can be.

Is it bad to say I'm doing it for myself? I dont have any kids and and heart desease isnt something that runs in my family, neither is diabetes or other weight related problems. I'm doing this because I want to feel confident, happy and proud of my body like I used to and just improve on my overall health.

My sister. she passed away and was getting so close to her weight loss goal, that i wanna do it for her. in her memory. but other than that, my mom, aunt, and best friend have been great support, they motivate me to be better because they love and care for me.

My "surprise" 5 yr old daughter. I thought I was entering menopause, but to my stunned shock, was actually pregnant. She is the most adorable, bright, loving, sweet child and I want to be around to enjoy her for a very long time.

Good question. It made me think. I guess if I had to pick someone besides myself, it would be for my future husband that I haven't met yet.
