can someone plz tell me exactly how to measure your waist!?. is it where you crease when you bend above your belly button below your rib cage?!. thats where ive been measuring. and hips,, do you go around your butt?!. bc i have. my measurements are waist 31.5 and hips 40.5 they seem soo far off from eachother is it normal or am i doing smthng wrong!?.

Measure your waist and the most narrow spot...generally just above your belly button. For hips you measure at the widest spot about your hips, butt, stomach...whatever happens to be there. I have a 14 inch difference between my waist and hips.0

If I measure there mine are really far off too. Usually you want to measure around your belly button and the widest part of your hips. If that is where you are measuring it makes sense that those are the measurments you are getting.0

It's important you know your body and the importance of measurements. Read about it, do a bit of research, and in the meantime, as you lose weight, keep checking your WHR (waist to hip ratio), a serious indicator of health risk:
