thinking about getting Insanity.

I did a month of bootcamp workouts with a local organization and LOVED them. unfortunatly the cost of a regular membership is way out of my budget to continue. I saw a infomercial for Insanity and it seems like it is what I have been doing. So if you have done insanity was it worth it for you? what were your results? nI am looking to lose weight (40 pounds or so to go) and to gain strength. I want to be the skinny strong chick

I absolutely love Insanity! The first time that I did 2 years ago, I lost 10 pounds in the first month alone. You burn a ton of calories and you do some body weight strength moves that really work your chest, arms, and abs (plank moves, IMHO, are the best thing you can do to strengthen your abs). I could notice lower body fat in the mirror after just a week of doing it.
I now incorporate the different workouts into my P90X routine and I have been seeing a lot of success from that.
The "sequel" to Insanity called Asylum comes out in April. I am definitely getting that when it comes out!0 -
Did you do the bootcamp in Mville?! A friend of mine did a bootcamp up there for a month and LOVED it! But yes, spendy!0

I did. I bought the living social deal back in Jan for a month @$30. I really enjoyed it but its out of our budget and I honestly think I can do it on my own. I saw this insanity infomerical and thought it sounded like a good deal. I am going to try to find a copy on Craigslist or Ebay I think.0 -
