Are you eating the calories you're exercising off? I always eat mine... but maybe try a week without eating your exercise deficit?

most likely you're going to have to workout more than 3 times a week! I know it's tough to fit those workouts in but you should try to up it (longer than 30 minutes), make sure you're really working hard and working up a good sweat and burn, and then see what happens. I don't think you should change anything about your calorie intake. 1300 is really low! Probably just need to make sure you're really pushing yourself with your workouts! Workout hard and workout atleast 5 times a week!

Hang in there. It can get frustrating at times. I'm having the same problem right now due to medication I went off of, but unfortunately the weight is hanging on.
I agree with seobstar, kicking the workouts up a notch may help.
    Keep hydrated also.
    Good luck!

    and as for medication
im on celexa and birthcontrol but i asked my doctor about weight gain with anti depressants and she said that celexa will only make you crave more food. it wont actually cause you to gain weight by itself
just telling you what i heard

You probably need to up the workouts or have more intense workouts and not eat back exercise calories if you are. Maybe try the 30 day shred by Jillian Michaels, even if you don't do it every day like they suggest, its only 20 minutes long so maybe you could fit it in 5 days a week or 3 days a week and add high intensity interval training (sprint 1 min, walk 1-2 min, repeat). HIIT is supposedly one of the best workouts you could possibly do. 30DS & HIIT both seem to be pretty effective for me to lose inches even if I don't lose pounds every week.

are you doing cardio or toning exercises? That makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE. I did a lot of toning before I knew any different and I was gaining weight.. Under my fat was muscle but there was still fat.. Now I'm doing Cardio and just a touch of toning/sculpting every once in a while and it's working for me. So maybe it could work for you:) Worth a shot! And drink plenty of water!!!

No matter what I do with calories, I ONLY lose weight when I work out pretty hard. Right now I'm doing 45-70 min 5 days a week, trying to keep my heart rate between 140 and 170 bpm (so not counting warm-ups and cool-downs, stretching, and weight training). I also do some lower hr workouts--hr 110-135 for 120-150 minutes per week. I'm losing about a pound a week.

For reference, I eat 1930 calories per day. I have a job that requires a LOT of focus and patience, and I just can't sustain that if I'm not eating enough. However, I have tried lower calorie restrictions in the past (job not so demanding), and I still found that I didn't lose weight until I worked out pretty hard.

I don't mind the slow weight loss b/c my goal was overall fitness (including fat loss, but also muscle gain and better cardio endurance), so I like that I'm feeling better, even though all my "fat" clothes still fit and no one but me can see a difference.

My doctor told me that if I don't get to or keep my target heart rate up for atleast an hour (Cardio).... then its not really doing me any good. So maybe you just need to put in atleast an hour of exercise. I have gotten to a point that 5x a week isn't doing so well so I am gonna go 6 days to the gym and add in some Zumba for the Wii at home. Also I went a while and didn't lose any lbs but I lost some inches. Maybe this helps. It sure is disheartening when you work hard and have no results. Good luck to you!!
